Your Questions, Answered

  • We’ll begin with a welcome lunch on March 16th at 12:30 pm, which is also when check-in at the retreat location begins.

If you plan to arrive in Cusco the night before, we recommend booking a hotel in the city. This allows time to rest, acclimate to the altitude, and explore Cusco before heading to the Sacred Valley.

    • Comfortable clothing for yoga and meditation

    • Warm layers (mornings and evenings can be cool in the Sacred Valley)

    • WARM JACKET for our rainbow valley excursion

    • Umbrella incase it rains

    • Walking/hiking shoes for excursions

    • A reusable water bottle

    • Mineral sunscreen and hat for sunny days.

    • Personal toiletries and any medications or supplements you use regularly

    • A small daypack for outings

    • Swimsuit for hot springs

  • The retreat ends on the morning of Saturday, March 21. We will travel back from Machu Picchu to Cusco, arriving no later than 12:00 pm.

I recommend booking your return flight for the late afternoon or evening to allow for a relaxed transfer.

  • The Sacred Valley sits at a lower altitude than Cusco and is generally much more comfortable — at only about 600 feet higher than Aspen, Colorado. You may feel the altitude a bit when you first arrive in Cusco, but most people notice a sense of ease once they descend into the Sacred Valley.

I also recommend gently increasing your breathwork practice before the retreat to support your lung capacity for our Rainbow Mountain adventure — Breath of Fire, baby! 😉

During the retreat, we’ll enjoy coca leaf tea, which is traditionally used in the Andes to help the body adapt to higher altitudes. I’ll also have altitude-support medication available if anyone needs it.

Arriving in Cusco a day before the retreat can help with acclimatization if your body is sensitive to altitude, though many guests feel just fine without doing so.

  • Once you arrive at our Sacred Valley retreat location, everything is covered—transportation during the retreat, nourishing meals, site entries, holistic sessions, and entertainment.

Transportation to and from the Cusco airport to our Sacred Valley retreat location is not included, but can be arranged for an additional cost.

  • All meals will be vegetarian. Vegan meals are available upon request prior to the retreat. If you have any other specific dietary needs or allergies, please feel free to email us in advance so we can discuss and accommodate you as best as possible.

  • This journey is for those who feel called by the magic of Peru — its mountains, its ancient temples, and the deep intelligence of the land itself.

According to Andean traditions, Machu Picchu & the Sacred Valley was not only a city, but a spiritual center — a place of connection between worlds. Many believe the wisdom of the Incas did not disappear, but lives on in the land, the mountains, and the energetic memory of these sacred spaces.

Through daily meditation, Kundalini yoga, ceremony, and time in nature, this retreat offers space to release old layers, reset the nervous system, and return home renewed — clear in body, grounded in spirit, and open to new direction.

This is both an adventure and an inner pilgrimage — a rare opportunity to experience Peru not only with your eyes, but with your whole being.

  • Cancellations 15–60 days receive a 25% refund.
